National Association of Storm Chasers and Spotters ™
National Storm Chase and Storm Spotter Memorial
The NASCASTM is currently in process of designing a memorial site for spotters and chasers killed while participating in spotting or chasing activities.
There are currently three known fatalities involving chasers or spotters. A storm chaser killed two years ago while returning from a hurricane chase, a police office killed while spotting the Greensburg tornado in 2007 and most recently, a volunteer firefighter killed while while spotting.
Contact our public affairs office here for assistance or to recommend a name for the memorial. We are also seeking a web-master for this specific page. Thank you.
